THE HEIRESS, written by Ruth & Augustus Goetz, centers on Catherine Sloper, the plain, shy daughter of a wealthy physician, who has never received either tenderness or affection. So when a handsome young man comes along and claims to love her, she eagerly returns his affections. However, her father believes that the suitor cares more for Catherine's money than for her, and does everything in his power to destroy the relationship.
Auditions will be on Mon/Tues August 9 & 10 (7-9.30PM) with callbacks on August 12 from 7PM, if needed, at Belmont Town Hall Auditorium, 455 Concord Avenue, Belmont. See website for travel directions.
