Specialty Act Auditions for An Evening of Vaudeville Performances August 15 & 23

Description:
The Windsor Jesters announce Specialty Act Auditions for An Evening of Vaudeville Performances including, “Curse You, Jack Dalton!” an old-fashioned Victorian-style melodrama.

Directed by Harry Ripa. August 15 and August 23rd at 6:00 PM. To be held at the auditorium at L.P. Wilson Community Center, 599 Matianuck Avenue, Windsor, CT.

Needed for specialty acts: DANCERS (ballroom, ballet Pointe, tap, clog), SINGERS (barbershop quartets, opera, Gilbert and Sullivan, and Irish tenors), MUSICIANS (guitar, harmonica, banjo, violin, ukulele, accordion), and CHILDREN’S ACTS. Especially, UNIQUE ACTS (such as contortionists, pantomimes, jugglers, plate spinners, acrobats, tumblers, magicians, and male/female impersonators).

Specialty acts should prepare (no longer than) a 5-minute audition. Bring headshot and resume if available. Individuals interested in working on the show in any capacity are encouraged to attend or to get in touch with us by audition date.

Show dates: October 26 & 27 and November 2 & 3.

Auditions for Actors will be held on Aug. 14 & 22, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. (see separate notice).
