Marblehead Little Theatre is seeking a dynamic director for its January 2013 production of Inherit the Wind.
The ability to lead, foster a collaborative vision/approach, and posses a positive attitude are the main attributes we are looking for when considering applicants for this position. The willingness to occasionally work outside the normal realm of directing (advise and assist on design elements, set construction, general promotion) is a plus. MLT has a strong support staff in place, ready to welcome a new person to our thriving theater community.
A stipend is provided, negotiable, and will commensurate with experience.
Show dates are scheduled from January 25th - February 3rd , with rehearsals flexibly starting in December.
About the show: Inherit the Wind is a play by Jerome Lawrence and Robert Edwin Lee. The play, which debuted in 1955, is a story that fictionalizes the 1925 Scopes "Monkey" Trial as a means to discuss the then-contemporary McCarthy trials.
